One of my and the rest of the team’s absolute favorites every year, the Les Granges cuvee is his ultra-crowd pleasing red that’s all about vivacity and quaffing satisfaction. Perfect with anything from a ripe goat cheese to meats off the grill and everything in between, this is as luscious and ripe an expression of Cabernet Franc from the Central Loire as you’re going to find. In fact, this year the wine is showing a little more depth and concentration compared to last year with no shortage of dark fruits, a pencil lead-like minerality, and a breezy texture that’s Just. So. Satisfying. It’s not an exaggeration in any way to say that this will not last because, like I mentioned before, we blew out about 10 cases of this last year in about a month. So grab a couple of bottles to drink now and maybe tuck a couple of bottles away for Thanksgiving, you’ll be glad you did.
