Aromas of Blackberry, crushed violets, licorice, leather and anise dominate this elegantly structured and full-flavored Monty, which also sports notes of dark fruits, Morello cherry, coffee and balsamic with a long-lingering and luxurious finish. Aged 12 months in French and Slavonian oak barrels, the wine is the transferred to large barrels and stainless steel tanks for a minimum 24 months aging prior to bottling.
