It was meant to be when we were shown Domaine de la Ferrandiere Brut, the first anointed wine in this lineup. When we heard the price it was clear this was a no-brainer – this sparkler is sure to be a customer favorite for many months to come. Made entirely from Chardonnay grapes, this is legitimate Blanc de Blancs (even if a Vin de France such as this is not eligible to receive that phrase on the label). Delightfully refreshing with notes of russet apple and brioche-y yeast character, Ferrandiere offers the depth of real Champagne without the price tag, so you don’t have to feel badly adding orange juice or the ever-popular Aperol.
