Year after year, this is consistently one of the absolute best values in the store. Lantignie isn’t a Cru of Beaujolais, but wines like this make for a great argument for elevating it to Cru status. Loaded with notes of blackberry & cherry, peony flowers, and freshly turned earth, this wine offers a mix of minerality, acidity, and silky tannins in a medium-bodied package that is incredibly drinkable. Versatile as heck, this wine works with all manner of foods and also makes for a terrific quaffing wine with just a bit of a chill to it.
