The Père et Fils range is a collaboration between Henri the father (Père) and Laurent the son (Fils). It’s a range that took a little time to create, but the discussions, disagreements and odd argument along the way all lead to a range of wines we’re very proud of. Although Henri and Laurent don’t do proud, that would be crass. This one is fresh, light even. The touch of pink coming from the slight exposure to the red grape. These grapes are harvested at night because that’s when they are crisper in the lower temperatures. Not so good for our sleep patterns but definitely good in your glass. Where you’ll find hints of red fruits, strawberry and redcurrants. Summer fruits for a summer wine. Which is often enjoyed in winter. And Spring. And Autumn. It loves a barbeque. And that’s where you’ll find it most. But it’s also at home with a salad and can easily accompany a white fish any time of the year.
