Master Distiller Ana Maria Romero is one of the more respected and awarded tequila authorities in Mexico. She prioritizes a meticulous slow process of traditional methods for making tequila, including selecting the best mature agaves from the best plots, to rich fermentation of slow cooked agaves, to a delicate distillation in pot stills. To give Mijenta an even more differentiated character, it is not filtered.

Light tropical fruit notes, a touch of ripe citrus and soft honeyed agave greet the nose. Rich agave nectar initially on the palate with a wash of vanilla and lime before soft pepper and cinnamon slowly build in intensity.
