Grape: Chardonnay (light oak)
Tasting Notes: Stone Fruit, Pineapple, Mineral, Vanilla
The Paul Mas estate was founded in 1892. Jean-Claude Mas, independent winemaker, fourth generation grape grower, first generation winemaker and owner of Domaines Paul Mas, is a leader in fine winemaking in the Languedoc region of the South of France. His vines are grown using sustainable viticulture practices, with portions of the vineyards being organic.
The grapes for this unctuous, unoaked Chardonnay hail from Mas's Saint Hilaire Vineyard near Limoux. It is rich and soft with flavors of apricot, apple, pear, honey, pineapple, bread, vanilla, mineral, and melon. Excellent with roasted poultry, salads, grilled vegetables and seafood dishes.
