Utilizing their proprietary mash of 60% rye, 20% corn, and 20% malted barley, this whiskey was distilled and aged at the spectacularly revived Castle & Key (formerly Old Taylor) distillery in Kentucky. The majority of this whiskey was aged for 3.5yrs with the balance coming in at 2.5yrs prior to bottling at 49% abv. The whiskey sings with bright notes that span an impressive range of classic rye notes from herbal eucalyptus, fresh licorice mint and citrus peels to sweet vanilla and whole spices.
